MEET MAYA

Maya Mitchell  is a Licensed Master Hair Stylist, Educator, and Salon  Owner. She creates beautiful hair designs that enhance her clients' “beauty on the outside” and expresses the confidence, that they have on the inside. Whether it is preparing for a job interview, getting married, or just celebrating life, her goal is to custom design a look based on her client’s request to show off their personality, fashion style, and complement their busy lifestyle.

 

Maya is the mother of 2 beautiful girls and runs a full-time business, so she understands the importance of time and family. Maya’s clients expect nothing but the best and that's what she strives to give them. With over 10+ years behind the chair, Maya has been able to cultivate her craft through experience and education.   

 

She continues to stay knowledgeable and current by taking master courses in hair growth and hair care systems receiving certifications from Schwarzkopf and Paul Mitchell (Color Theory), Extention Techniques in Sew- In Weaving and Micro-links (Kerri Alston, Bella Hair, Creative Co.) Hair Care and Texture (Design Essentials), Precision/Bob Cutting (Mastercutter Academy), and Bridal Updo Styling (Charis Hair, BTC ) 

 

Maya is a proud Award-Winning Hairstylist, Published and Artistic Educator for McBride Research Laboratories (aka Design Essentials) for the last 5 consecutive years.
